Day 1 :

Rishikesh to Joshimath/Pipalkoti (Drive: 252m, Duration: 10–11 hours, Altitude: 6,700 ft)

The trekkers will be picked up from the Rishikesh bus stand at 7:00 a.m., where the journey begins. Dehradun is well connected to Delhi by railway and road routes. Overnight buses and trains are available. You can also take a flight to Dehradun, a 280-kilometer road ride to Joshimath from Dehradun, crossing the cities of Rishikesh, Devprayag, and Rudraprayag. Breakfast and lunch during the trip will be provided in the roadside inns. The individual will pay for the meal during the trip. Arrival at Joshimath/Pipalkoti town and accommodation in a guest house or hotel. A quick introduction and briefing session with the trek leader and fellow travellers follow dinner and rest at the guesthouse or hotel.

Day 2 :

Joshimath/Pipalkoti to Gulling Campsite Via Tugasi Village (Drive: 12 km, Trek: 7 km, Duration: 4-5 hours, Altitude: 9,600 ft)

After Breakfast, drive on a 12-kilometre route to Tugasi village from Pipalkoti. The trek will begin in Dhak village. The trail from Tugasi is a gradual ascent and comprises dusty and rocky patches. Lunch and refreshments will be served midway between Tugasi village and Guling Campsite. Arrival at the campsite is followed by evening refreshments, dinner, and rest in the camps.

Day 3 :

Gulling Campsite to Khulara Campsite (Trek: 6 km, Duration: 5–6 hours, Altitude: 11,100 ft)

Early morning trek to Khulara after Breakfast, covering a distance of 5 km. Khulara is a vast campsite surrounded by coniferous forests of oak, pine, and rhododendrons, accompanied by water streams all over the campsite area. The trek to Khulara from Gulling is a moderate ascent. Arrival at the campsite until the late lunch hour. Rest at the camp after lunch. An evening acclimatization walk to gear up for the next big day. Evening refreshments post-acclimatization walk. Dinner and rest at the campsite.

Day 4 :

Khulara to Pangarchulla Summit and Back to Khulara Campsite (Trek: 12 km, Duration: 10–11 hours, Altitude: 15,516 ft)

After Breakfast, start an early morning ascent to Pangarchulla Peak. It is a steep and challenging climb of 6 km. Carry energy bars, dry fruits, and water on the trail. Enjoy a packed lunch in the middle of the trail during the summit. Rest at the summit, followed by a descent to the Khulara campsite. Refreshments are served in the evening at the campsite. Dinner and overnight stay are in the camps.

Day 5 :

Khulara Campsite to Joshimath/Pipalkoti (Trek: 10 km, Duration: 4-5 hours, Drive: 12 km, Altitude: 6,700 ft)

Trek Down to Pipalkoti from Khulara campsite via Guling and Tugasi Village after Breakfast. Trek till Tugasi village, followed by a 12-kilometre drive to Joshimath/Pipalkotifrom Tugasi. Lunch at Pipalkoti. Halt at a guest house or hotel in Joshimath or Pipalkoti. Dinner at Joshimath/Pipalkoti.
